I completely understand how you feel, I've been there. Feeling like I wanted my life to be so very different, to have more joy and positivity. But it seemed too far from reach. I'M NICOLA AND I'M HERE TO HELP YOU CREATE YOUR DREAM LIFE!
In 2021, I was made redundant after 23 years in the corporate world. I didn't have a plan-B and after years of struggling and hiding anxiety and low confidence issues, I felt destined for the scrap heap.
What came next was a lot of soul-searching about how I wanted my life to be. I knew the way I'd been existing wasn't sustainable - my life was racing by with no sense of purpose.
I decided to use my skills and knowledge from 20 years working in the sports industry together with my passion to help others build a healthier lifestyle to found Life Now Coaching, creating tailored programmes for women in business and corporate teams. I qualified as a Personal Trainer and completed a health and wellness coaching programme to pivot my career and become an entrepreneur and transformational health coach.
I love using my corporate background of leading teams, mentoring and coaching individuals and being a driven leader, together with my personal experience of mental and physical health challenges, to help others build healthy, happy, and strong lives.
My mission is to share the power of moving your body daily and building sustainable healthy habits to enable you to live a long, healthy and wealthy life.
My purpose is to normalise a healthy lifestyle for families so that kids, especially girls, grow up with healthy habits as a part of who they are and understand that living a great life and feeling happy results from how you take care of your mind, body and soul.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Most definitely! A big part of my experience and expertise is in supporting clients with the right knowledge about nutrition and food choices that would fit their goals and lifestyle. I do not advocate 'going on a diet' as, for me, diet is the name for what you eat, regardless of what you're eating.
We can work on the link between total good health and wellness and your weight. To lose weight, you can't only look at what you eat, so I want you to walk away with the right knowledge about your overall health to be able to approach your weight-loss goals in the best and most sustainable way.
If your priority is to improve your fitness and move your body more regularly, we can most definitely support you on this through the programme. As a fully qualified Personal Trainer, I can help you work on the mindset challenges you have about embarking on an exercise plan. I'll help you build daily habits to keep your body moving every day.
There is not a specific exercise plan included as part of the programme, but if you're looking for dedicated PT support, please let me know, as I can offer additional sessions with my PT hat on to create a training programme for you. I can take PT sessions with you either virtually or in-person if you live locally to me. This would be an extra cost and commitment to the 12-week programme and is only available to clients on this programme.
Choosing to do this in combination with the programme, or even afterwards, would be a great way to achieve the fitness goals you have.
This is very normal and where lots of clients start. It's often the reason you're not feeling healthy, happy, or getting the success you're working hard for. You feel lost and don't know what needs changing.
The first part of the programme is about getting clear on what matters to you and how you want to live your life, so we'll identify here what's going on and what to focus on changing.
Coaching is about exploring your inner beliefs and stories, so for most people, until you start working with a coach, you'll not know what these are and hence won't know what to work on changing.
Time is often the biggest hurdle that many women like you have in their way to making the changes they want. This is exactly what my coaching helps you to break apart - the belief that it's just not feasible to make time for you.
I'll help you to make small changes to your lifestyle to build habits that will move you towards your life goals. Habits will allow you to build a sustainable lifestyle so that being 'healthy' is no longer a chore or task on your to-do-list that you always leave unchecked because you don't have enough time.
Outside of the weekly sessions, there will sometimes be a little bit of work to do using different tools. These vary depending on your needs and the steps we agree to take. These can be done at your own pace and are optional, but are going to help you get the most from the programme.
Of course, the whole purpose of you investing in the programme is to make changes in your life, so time for reflection, maybe some journaling and, of course, some action planning will be a must to ensure you are successful in your goals and vision! There really won't be a lot of additional time required, but overall, I do stress that both your financial and time investment need to align to get the most from working together.
I'd say having an extra 30-60 minutes outside of the weekly live sessions is a good amount of time to take to get the most from working together.
This is not something I want you to worry about at all, so rest assured there is absolutely no pressure to be on camera. However, to ensure we build a relationship of trust to help you make the changes you want, it is recommended that we're both on camera.
The coach<>client relationship is one of complete confidentiality, so know that anything you share is between us in our coach<>client capacity.
You will need to be open in our sessions so that I can support you in making the changes and get the results you want. I do set this up during our first call and make sure you know that you are always in control of what you say and share, so please know you only need to share what you feel comfortable with and that you think will help you in your transformation journey.

This is what a coach does! I'll work with you to dig into your challenges, worries, sticking points and limiting beliefs so you get complete clarity on what's going on in your life right now.
From there, you'll be able to zoom out to see what it is you want to prioritise to change first, and there's the starting point.
I've spoken to lots of women who know they want to be and feel healthier, but they're not sure what it is they need to change - often because there's lots of areas of their life not working well right now. Having a coach helps you to unlock your potential to maximise your own healthy life choices. I'll guide you to overcome obstacles and find realistic solutions.
The amazing thing is, you know you want to build a healthier lifestyle and are taking a massive step to achieve it!
The sessions are 60 minutes each week and are held using Zoom. If you're not familiar with Zoom, it is really straightforward to use. You'll receive an email with the session link in and all you need to do is make sure you have the Zoom App installed on your laptop, iPad or phone. It is easiest to use a laptop or desktop so you can see the content I'll share clearly.
You don't have to turn on your camera, but it is preferred as it makes it much more personable and interactive, which is more conducive to a coaching session.
If this is a problem for you, we can, of course, discuss it and there'll be no pressure for you to use your camera.
Not at all. I am flexible with the hours I work and have evening appointments available to accommodate clients who work during normal daytime hours or are based in a different time zone.
On our first call, we can agree on a regular weekly slot for the session or decide if they need to vary each week. Either way is 100% possible.
If you need to stretch the programme beyond the 12 weeks, it is planned for we can also discuss this at the start of our time together.
